  • Highly compacted sandstone ranging from 15,000 to 20,000 psi hardness.
  • Pilot hole for installation of HDPE water line up the side of a mountain with a pitch of 77%.

Outcome:
After a competitor had spent 4 days attempting this bore, Pioneer One was brought in. We set up to the right of their bore hole on an earthen ramp to enter at a 20% up angle. The bore was 270-ft in length with the last 60-ft being mixed conditions. In approximately 7 hours, it was completely drilled out.
