A vegetable oil-based rock drill lubricant that's safe for the environment

• A unique product developed for all types of drilling where percussive hammers are used – such as D.T.H. Hammer, air hammers, casing drivers, and top hammers – to save wear and improve their performance. Use RDO 302 ES in all in-line lubricators.
• Reduces the potential of surface or groundwater environmental damage during mining production, mineral exploration, construction of roads and pipelines, quarrying, water well drilling, and oil and gas exploration.
• Has proprietary lubricating compounds that preferentially wet the steel, and are resistant to being washed off in a water, saline water, or a foam environment. This helps reduce the corrosion (rust) that can develop in these environments on the internal and external parts of the hammer even after the equipment is not in use, extending the life of your hammer by 40%.
• Has a special filming additive that prevents piston scuffing and heat build-up. Wear of internal hammer parts is reduced dramatically, thereby increasing profitability and efficiency.
• Has a viscosity that allows the lubricant to flow freely to areas requiring lubrication. Lubrication can also be better controlled, reducing consumption.
• An environmentally-safe product that lubricates more effectively than conventional rock drill oils while reducing contamination of surface and groundwater. Particularly suited for drilling in sensitive areas, such as adjacent to streams and lakes or where groundwater protection is important.

A unique, cost-saving fluid formulated to speed up hole clearing, reduce collar sloughing, and stabilize the borehole

• Can be used with air-rotary tri-cone, down the hole hammers and all types of top hammer drills, both surface and underground.
• Reduces re-drills (re-drill: having to drill a borehole again due to hole collapse).
• Eliminates regrinding of cuttings, thus creating bigger chips for sampling purposes and increasing penetration rates.
• Leaves a sticky, neatly stacked cuttings pile that is not prone to sloughing prior to loading the hole.
• Acts as a dust suppressant and reduces wind blown fines.
• Allows blast holes to be fully loaded, helping to optimize blasting operations and creating a clean smooth floor.
• Speeds up borehole collaring, thereby increasing production.
• Available in a 5 gallon pail.

Suggested Dosage: the approximate mix ratio to achieve tank mix suitable for most drilling and borehole conditions is approximately 1-2 quart(s) of Hole Control to 250 US gallons of water. Or, 1-2 liter(s) of Hole Control to 1,000 liters of water. Naturally acidic water sources will require more Hole Control additive to achieve the required viscosity.

*Product will separate slightly over time. The buckets need to be shaken vigorously before each use.

A reliable, high-performance foam

• An environmentally acceptable foaming agent to be used in mineral exploration, oil and gas exploration, and water well drilling operations.
• Has been used as a drilling aid for monitoring wells.
• Has an excellent half-life comparable to the leading foams on the market.
• Gives immediate tight foam (compact bubbles) with good lifting characteristics.
• Can be enhanced by the addition of Matex Hole Control to create significantly stiffer foam if required.
• The biodegradability of the Foamer ES is 99.9% after two to three days.
• Available in a 5 gallon pail.

Suggested Dosage: normal drilling conditions are 0.5-1% by volume, and excessive water influx is 2-3% by volume. Dosages will depend on chemical make-up of the drilling water, volume of water used, and the depth of the hole.

A dry polymer mixture blended with environmentally-conscious lubricants

Add to water to create a drilling fluid designed to reduce the difficulties of drilling unconsolidated formations such as sands and gravels.

• A unique DSPA (Dry Suspended Polyacrylamide) fluid capable of stabilizing the most difficult sand and gravel conditions.
• Assists in inhibiting the swelling of clay-like materials such as saprolites, talcs, and kimberlite; this eliminates bit balling.
• Imparts excellent viscosity yield; it's a superior product for borehole stabilization and encapsulation of solids.
• Reduces the need of casing in most unconsolidated formations.
• Will increase productivity and profits.
• Enhances both bit life and penetration rates during drilling operations.
• Is based on an environmentally safe technology that has proven to be effective in lubricating down-hole consumables for more than 25 years.
• Increases tool joint life by reducing torque in the hole.
• Available in a 5 gallon pail.

Suggested Dosage: starting dosage of One Shot Plus is 2-4 quarts per 250 US gallons of water, or 2-4 liters per 1,000 liters of water.

An eco-friendly vegetable oil-based replacement for present pipe dopes with heavy metals and petroleum carriers

• A unique formulation provides excellent protection against thread wear, galling and seizing for tool joints, drill collars and rotary shouldered connections.
• Free of both petroleum oil carriers and all heavy metals such as lead, zinc, copper, aluminum, and more.
• Highly resistant to water wash-off.
• Ideal for mineral exploration drilling projects where samples uncontaminated by heavy metals are required, and groundwater contamination is of concern.
• Should be a preferred thread compound for all drilling applications including water wells.
• Protects inner and outer connections on reverse circulation drill pipe (inner o-rings and thread connections).
